We think it is important for you to understand where our products come from. A great deal of hard work and passion goes on behind the scenes to make sure you can enjoy your Australian grown food. My Pantry Store is very thankful for the hard work and dedication our Australian farmers, processers and suppliers go through to ensure we receive only the highest quality Australian grown and owned food.
We hope you enjoy learning about the farms behind the products we sell:
CHIA SEEDS - AUSTRALIAN GROWN
Our chia seeds are grown in pristine farmland on the Atherton Tablelands in North Queensland, west of Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef.
Dennis and Maryann Salvetti have been farming for over 50 years and produce grass seed and legumes for both the Australian Domestic and Export Markets.
White and Black Chia Seed are grown, graded and packed by the Salvetti Family on their red volcanic soils of North Queensland.
PUMPKIN SEEDS (PEPITAS) - AUSTRALIAN GROWN
The Australian Pumpkin Seed Company was started to make the delicious Pumpkin Seed Oil.
Unfortunately when the business was started there was no Australian Pumpkin Seed Industry to source raw materials from…. So the founding members of the Australian Pumpkin Seed Company started growing the special variety of pumpkin in 1988, on the family farm in Queensland, which went on to became the first supply of product to the market.
Now, a growing number of their paddocks in the Alpine Region of Victoria and also contract farmers meet the ever growing demand of customers.
TEA - AUSTRALIAN GROWN
Our Daintree Tea is proudly 100 per cent Australian owned, grown and processed.
The Daintree Tea Company is located on the Cubbagudta Plantation, situated in the heart of the Daintree Wilderness and Rainforest area in Far North Queensland.
The Plantation was established in 1978, by the Nicholas family, who still own and operate the business today.
